Andre Pienaar’s initial experience in mining dates back to his representation of Ridge Mining in 2006, on various DME (as they were know at the time) applications and procedures, as well as being intricately involved in a substantive litigation dispute which centred around a transfer of licence as contemplated in the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (28 of 2002).

Andre has subsequently advised various national and multinational companies on transactions involving coal offtake purchases, contract mining and profit share, mining rights, tailing and reprocessing projects, conversions of mineral rights, mining titles and mineral right acquisitions.
